Expressive Art

Expressive Art is a holistic healing technique that uses the Arts as its basis for self-exploration, understanding, acceptance, and healing.
All 5 disciplines of the arts can be used to foster personal growth, insight, and healing; for my courses, we focus mainly on the visual art of painting, mark-making, and collage for participants to experience the full embodiment of their creativity and expression.
With Expressive Art, the process of creation and processing the feelings that arise are more important than the final art product. Expressive Art brings our subconscious forward into our awareness allowing us the opportunity for self-exploration and understanding.
The Fundamental Expressive Art course (8 sessions) is structured as a personal growth course with each participant working through their own individual challenges.

Soul Art (6 sessions)
SoulArt is a 6 session energy development course, a spiritual practice that grows our energetic infrastructure. It takes expressive art and combines it with energy merging practices and oneness meditations. This combination raises consciousness and self-reflection and develops the connection between one's higher self and divine wisdom.
Each SoulArt painting produced has a powerful energy vibration in itself. Participants merge/meditate on the art they have produced each session as through connecting with the images they tap into its powerful energy vibration and access universal truths, ancient knowledge, expanded consciousness (or altered states of consciousness), and the energy of the divine.
Pure Expression (4 SESSIONS)
Expression is all about connecting with creativity and our playful nature that is our birthright. We all played as a child, we all still have a playful nature within us. The course combines movement, breath, and spontaneous painting with no preset outcomes or agenda to fully emerge ourselves in the moment, freely exploring the pleasure of play and creativity.
Jon Kabat-Zinn states mindfulness as being " an open-hearted, moment to moment, non-judgemental awareness". When you let go and just move, breath, and paint you will experience mindfulness and a deep sense of the now.
